Note: This Agenda Blog is only an approximate plan of the weekly lesson plans. Changes can and will be made due to unanticipated circumstances and in order to maximize instructional effectiveness.



American History High School


Monday – Chapter 3, Section 1 Quiz. Teacher will check Chapter 10 index cards. Students will independent read Chapter 3, Section 2 and take notes.


Tuesday – Chapter 3, Section 2 Quiz. Class will read and review Chapter 3, Section 3 together.


Wednesday – Chapter 3, Section 3 Quiz. Students will independently read Chapter 3, Section 4 and take notes.

Homework: Students will complete Chapter 3, Section 4 Quiz.


Thursday – Chapter 3 Brain Bowl Review.


Friday – Chapter 3 Test.



World History High School


Monday – Class will finish Interactive PowerPoint Presentation on Human Origins, watch corresponding videos, ad discuss. Class will review important information and facts on Human Origins unit and discuss procedures for Brain Bowl Reviews.


Tuesday – Brain Bowl Review Game (Human Origins)


Wednesday – Test (Human Origins)


Thursday – Class will begin Interactive PowerPoint Presentation on The Stone Age.


Friday – Class will continue Interactive PowerPoint Presentation on The Stone Age. At the end of class, students will turn in answers for the parts of the PowerPoint presentation completed in class (if finished with all questions). Teacher will pass out a paper copy of the Interactive PowerPoint Presentation (does not include video clips, answers to written questions, and materials students will not be tested on).



English High School


Monday – Teacher will pass out Vocabulary List #1. Class will review vocabulary words. Students will write vocabulary words in a sentence with context clues demonstrating their understanding of the words.


Tuesday – Teacher will review how to diagram a sentence. Class will complete worksheet on Sentence Diagrams provided by teacher.


Wednesday – Three Wishes Writing Activity. Students will be provided with the beginning of a short story. Students will finish the story in 500 to 800 words.


Thursday – Three Wishes Writing Activity (Continued). Students will be provided with the beginning of a short story. Students will finish the story in 500 to 800 words.


Friday – Vocabulary Quiz #1



American History Middle School


Monday – Class will continue Interactive PowerPoint Presentation on Pre-Columbian America.


Tuesday – Class will finish Interactive PowerPoint Presentation on Pre-Columbian America. At the end of class, students will turn in answers (if finished with all questions).

Homework: Students who did not answer all questions to the PowerPoint presentation may use the paper copy to complete them. (Due Wednesday)


Wednesday – Brain Bowl Review Game (Pre-Columbian America)


Thursday – Test on Pre-Columbian America
