Welcome to Middle School at MA! We adhere to the Florida Standards in all of our academic courses. MA is a small, family-oriented school with friendly staff and highly qualified teachers. Our middle school classes are capped at 22 students to ensure we can provide individual attention to all students.
Our curriculum is aligned with Florida’s new B.E.S.T. standards to prepare students for success in high school courses. By focusing on developing critical thinking skills and content knowledge across multiple domains, the curriculum prepares students to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world.
8th grade Accelerated Program - Students who pass their 7th grade mathematics state exams qualify for our accelerated 8th grade program where they can take required high school courses such as Algebra I and Biology I while still in middle school. Earning two high school credits in middle school will be a great boost toward their high school graduation requirements, but students who show initiative and aptitude can take it even further.
For example, one of our 8th grade students successfully completed 6 high school classes in the 8th grade! This means that they will enter high school as a 10th grader and have a significant head start on their path to college.
