Government

Monday – Mass Media & Public Opinion Study Guide, Independent & Small Group Revier. Students will receive a study guide for the Mass Media & Public Opinion unit (Chapter 8 in the textbook). Students will study independently for the first half of class. Students will get into small groups for the second half of class and take turns quizzing each other.

Tuesday – Mass Media & Public Opinion Review. Class will play review game.

Wednesday – Mass Media & Public Opinion Test. Test on the Mass Media & Public Opinion unit (Chapter 8 in the textbook).

Thursday – FCLE Supplemental Guide. Teacher will pass out the Florida Civic Literacy Exam supplemental guide and the class will review.

Friday – NO CLASS. Field Day.

 


High School English

Monday – Vocabulary Dialogue. Students will receive Vocabulary List 16. Students will work with a partner to write a dialogue. The dialogue must be at least 150 words and must contain all the vocabulary words in the list. Both students must write the dialogue out on their papers.  

Tuesday – Vocabulary Dialogue, Part 2. Students will perform their vocabulary dialogues in front of the class.

Wednesday – Creative Dialogue. Write a dialogue in which a time traveler from the year 2065 has a conversation with a person from the present. The dialogue must be at least 150 words and must contain at least ten words from the vocabulary lists. Both students must write the dialogue out on their papers.

Thursday – Vocabulary Quiz 16. Quiz on Vocabulary List 16. Creative, Dialogue, Part 2. Students will perform their creative dialogues in front of the class.

Friday – NO CLASS. Field Day.

 


8th Grade English

Monday – Vocabulary Dialogue. Students will receive Vocabulary List 10. Students will work with a partner to write a dialogue. The dialogue must be at least 150 words and must contain all the vocabulary words in the list. Both students must write the dialogue out on their papers.  

Tuesday – Vocabulary Dialogue, Part 2. Students will perform their vocabulary dialogues in front of the class.

Wednesday – Creative Dialogue. Write a dialogue in which two friends are having a conversation while playing tennis. The dialogue must be at least 150 words and must contain at least ten words from the vocabulary lists. Both students must write the dialogue out on their papers.

Thursday – Vocabulary Quiz 10. Quiz on Vocabulary List 10. Creative, Dialogue, Part 2. Students will perform their creative dialogues in front of the class.

Friday – NO CLASS. Field Day.

 


8th Grade American History

Monday – Age of Reform Study Guide, Independent & Small Group Revier. Students will receive a study guide for the Age of Reform unit (Chapter 12 in the textbook). Students will study independently for the first half of class. Students will get into small groups for the second half of class and take turns quizzing each other.

Tuesday – Age of Reform Class Review. Class will play review game.

Wednesday – Age of Reform Test. Test on the Age of Reform unit (Chapter 12 in the textbook).

Thursday – Westward Expansion. Class will read and review, and students will complete pages 198 to 200 in the workbook.

Friday – NO CLASS. Field Day.
