American History High School

Monday – Chapter 24 & 25 Test Review. Class will review and discuss pages 790 to 841 in the textbook in preparation for test tomorrow.

Tuesday – Chapter 24 & 25 Test. Test on pages 790 to 841 in the textbook.

Homework: The Computer & Technology Revolutions. Students will read pages 848 to 852 in the textbook.

Wednesday – Vocabulary Review Worksheet #8. Students will complete vocabulary review worksheet using their vocabulary lists. Students will spend the second half of the period quizzing each other on the vocabulary terms.

Homework: The Clinton Presidency. Students will read pages 853 to 857 in the textbook.

Thursday – The Computer & Technology Revolutions & The Clinton Presidency. Class will review and discuss pages 848 to 857 in the textbook. Students will actively listen, participate in class discussion, and answer teacher-directed questions.

Friday – Vocabulary Review Activity. Class will review and discuss vocabulary terms.

Homework: Global Politics and Economics. Students will read pages 858 to 862.



World History High School

Monday – World War One Test Review. Class will review and discuss pages 698 to 723 in preparation for test tomorrow.

Tuesday – World War One Test. Test on pages 698 to 723 in the textbook.

Homework: Postwar Prosperity Crumbles. Students will read pages 743 to 748.

Wednesday – Postwar Prosperity Crumbles. Class will review and discuss pages 734 to 737 in the textbook. Students will actively listen, participate in class discussion, and answer guided reading questions.

Homework: Fascist Dictatorships in Italy and Germany. Students will read pages 743 to 748 in the textbook.

English High School

Monday – Vocabulary Review. Students will quietly review vocabulary terms for first half of class for preparation for Vocabulary Test on Friday. Students will spend second half of class quizzing each other on the vocabulary terms.

Homework: Students should finish reading Chapter 3 of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens.

Tuesday – A Christmas Carol. Class will read and discuss Chapter 4 of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Students will answer guided reading questions.

Wednesday – A Christmas Carol. Class will read and discuss Chapter 3 of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Students will answer guided reading questions. (Continued)

Thursday – Vacation Essay. Students will write an 800-to-1200 word essay on the following topic. “If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where it would it be? Explain why you would choose this location and what you would do there.”

Friday – Vocabulary Test. Cumulative test on vocabulary terms. Students will continue to work on Vacation Essay. Students will write an 800-to-1200 word essay on the following topic. “If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where it would it be? Explain why you would choose this location and what you would do there.”

Homework: Students will complete Vacation Essay. (Due Monday)

Monday – The West. Students will read pages 444 to 447 in the textbook. Students will answer guided reading questions on worksheet provided by teacher.

Homework: Trails to the West. Students will read pages 448 to 453 in the textbook.
