Week of 4/5- 4/9

This is subject to change if I feel as though the students are proficient or not at these topics


Algebra 1:

Monday- Start on factoring proper polynomials. The homework will be 292, 13, 18-21

Tuesday- Continue with proper polynomials. The homework will be pg 292, 22-35 which will be about how to factor more complex polynomials.

Wednesday- Finish up with proper polynomials with a worksheet Wednesday. If the worksheet isn't finished, it will be for homework.

Thursday- Review over proper polynomials and the quiz will be on Friday

Friday- Quiz on Proper Polynomials.

Pre-Algebra:

Monday- We will start on point slope form of a line. The homework will be a worksheet on it.

Tuesday- We will finish up on point slope form and turn our attention to standard form of a line. The homework will be another worksheet on it.

Wednesday- We will finish up with point slope and standard form with a review and there will be a quiz on Thursday

Thursday- Quiz on Point and Standard Form. On Friday, we will do an activity that will allow the students to understand the next section; Geometry.

Friday- Geometry activity. If the activity is not finished, then it will be for homework.


7th Grade Math:

Monday- We will continue with sales tax and tip. The homework will be a worksheet on it.

Tuesday- We will start on discounts. The homework will be Pg 337, 1,2,6-11

Wednesday- Budget activity. The students will be given a sum of money and expected to navigate through stores to buy certain necessities.

Thursday- We will review over sales tax and discount. There will be a quiz on Friday.

Friday- Quiz on Sales Tax and Discount.


6th Grade Math:

Monday- Start with inequalities. The homework will be a worksheet on it.

Tuesday- Continue with inequalities with graphing on a number line. The homework will be Pg 435, 6-15

Wednesday- Finish with inequalities for the quiz on Thursday.

Thursday- Quiz on Inequalities

Friday- Writing a math prompt for FSA training


Geometry:

Monday- Quiz on arc length and sector area

Tuesday - We will start on quadrilaterals. The homework will be Pg 512, 1-16

Wednesday- We will continue with quadrilaterals. The homework will be a worksheet on it

Thursday- We will review over quadrilaterals for the quiz on Friday

Friday- Quiz on Quadrilaterals
