Wednesday: FSA Expository/Informational Writing Graphic Organizer. Complete the Spectrum WKBK pgs.10-20

Thursday: Weekly Timed Writing: Expository-Prompts will not be disclosed until the day of the writing

Friday: Complete this week’s writing and assignments


Grade 8 Reading

Monday: Labor Day

Tuesday: EOL “Broken Chain” Read the story with the class. Students will complete the Quick write pg., 28 when the reading is done, students will complete the questions on Pg. 38: 1,2,3,4 then they will be asked to

choose between questions 5 OR 6 and again asked to choose between 7 OR 8. These last two are LONG responses requiring full grammatical and analysis prior to answering. They are to be at least two paragraphs long. They must have evidence from the text.

Wednesday: FSA Expository/Informational Writing Graphic Organizer. Complete the Spectrum WKBK pgs. 10-20

Thursday: Weekly Timed Writing: Expository- Prompts will not be disclosed until the day of the writing

9/10th Grade

Wednesday: Graphic Organizer and identifying the rhetoric in the first two chapters: Chapter 1& 2 Students will read/take notes and discuss as a class

11/12 Grade

Tuesday: Frankenstein Chapter 1 & 2. The use of Rhetoric in the Novel: Irony, Imagery, and Allusion
