Principal’s Message

Welcome to Micanopy Academy!

Dear Parents and Families,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Micanopy Academy — a place where every student is known, valued, and supported. At our school, we take pride in creating a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment that nurtures both academic excellence and personal growth.

Our small-school setting allows us to build strong relationships and provide individualized attention so that every student can thrive. We believe that education is most powerful when it is a partnership between school and home, and we encourage open communication with our families. Together, we can ensure that each student reaches their fullest potential — academically, socially, and emotionally.

We invite and encourage parents to stay actively involved through school events, volunteer opportunities, and regular dialogue with teachers and staff. Your participation strengthens our community and enhances the educational experience for all students.

Thank you for choosing Micanopy Academy and for entrusting us with your child’s education. We look forward to an inspiring year of learning, growth, and success together.

Warm regards,
Daniel Ferguson
