Government

Monday – NO SCHOOL

Tuesday – Students will work on the Chapter 1 Assessment and Documents Based Assessment.

Wednesday – Students will finish work on the Chapter 1 Assessment and Documents Based Assessment.

Thursday – Students will present their plan for government and essay on the necessity of government to the class. Students will answer teacher-directed questions and the class will discuss.

Friday – TEST (Chapter 1)


World History

Monday – NO SCHOOL

Tuesday – China & the Europeans

Wednesday – The Tokugawa Shogunate in Japan

Thursday – Review Game

Friday – TEST (Chapter 10 Section 2&3, Chapter 12, & Chapter 17)


American History

Monday – NO SCHOOL

Tuesday – Students will watch documentary on the War of 1812. Students should take notes and answer teacher-directed questions.

HW: Students will read Chapter 9, Section 4 (War of 1812)

Wednesday – Students will finish documentary on the War of 1812. Students should take notes and answer teacher-directed questions.

HW: Students will complete Chapter 9 Review & Assessment (Questions 1 – 11) (Due Friday)

Thursday – Review Game (Chapter 9)

Friday – TEST (Chapter 9)


Reading

Monday – NO SCHOOL

Tuesday – Class will begin reading “The Diary of Anne Frank”

Wednesday – Class will work on Thank You Notes (Donors Choose)

Thursday – Class will continue reading “The Diary of Anne Frank”

HW: Class will complete guided reading questions on “The Diary of Anne Frank”
