TUE: Questions for "Hollywood and the Pits" p. 33 & 35. Read about the La Brea Tarpits and the Saber Tooth Tiger for homework - worksheets.

WED: Make a poster about the La Brea Tarpits. Use facts from the articles.

THU: Preview and read "Birthday Box" p.36-42. Review vocabulary on pg.36.

FRI: Questions p.43-45. Short essay: "What would you put in your birthday box?"

----All students should be reading 1 book a week.------
