World History Middle School


Monday – Kublai Khan: How to Make an Impression. Class will read and discuss together. Students will being working on Tang and Song China (textbook pages 478 to 485). Students will read, define all terms, complete map skills questions on page 480 and 482, complete thinking critically question on page 483 and 484, and complete section 1 assessment on page 485.


Tuesday – Students will continue working on Tang and Song China (textbook pages 478 to 485). Students will read, define all terms, complete map skills questions on page 480 and 482, complete thinking critically question on page 483 and 484, and complete section 1 assessment on page 485. Students who finish early will study for quiz.


Wednesday – Chinese Empire Quiz (textbook pages 452 to 465); The Mongol Empire (textbook pages 486 to 491). Students will complete teacher-provided questions.

HW: Students will complete The Mongol Empire teacher-provided questions if they did not do so in class.


Thursday – Students will receive flashcard sheets for Ancient Rome. Students will work on completing flashcards for Ancient Rome. Students who finish early will use the time to study their flashcards.


Friday Class will play a Brain Bowl Review Game on all flashcard terms.




American History Middle School


Monday – A Rush to the West (textbook pages 462 to 467). Class will read and discuss together. Students will define all terms and create 10 questions and answer.


Tuesday – Brain Bowl Review Game (textbook pages 444 to 467)


Wednesday – Chapter 13 Test (based on textbook pages 444 to 467)


Thursday – Seminoles and Settlers (textbook pages FLA-2 to FLA-8). Class will read and discuss together. Students will answer teacher-provided questions.


Friday – The Struggle for Florida Statehood (textbook pages FLA-9 to FLA-11). Class will read and discuss together. Students will answer teacher-provided questions.




World History High School


Monday The Roots of Revolution (textbook pages 508 to 511). Class will briefly discuss. Students will define all terms and create 10 questions and answers based on the textbook reading.


Tuesday – The French Revolution (textbook pages 512 to 516). Class will briefly discuss and students will complete teacher-provided questions.


Wednesday – The French Republic (textbook pages 517 to 522). Class will briefly discuss and students will complete teacher-provided questions.


Thursday – Class will watch cartoon video on the French Revolution. Students are expected to pay attention, discuss, and answer teacher-directed questions.


Friday – French Revolution & Republic Quiz (textbook pages 508 to 522)




American History High School


Monday – Students will receive a review packet containing all key terms, events, people, and places from Chapters 5 through 18. Students will spend part of the period studying in silence and part of the period reviewing with the teacher.

HW: Students will study review packet (or flashcards) for 30 minutes.


Tuesday – The Counterculture & The Women’s Rights Movement. (textbook pages 762 to 770) Class will briefly discuss and students will complete teacher-provided questions.


Wednesday – The Rights Revolution Expands & The Environmental Movement (textbook pages 772 to 783) Class will briefly discuss and students will complete teacher-provided questions.


Thursday Review Activity (Chapters 5 through 18 and 23)

HW: Students will study review packet (or flashcards) for 30 minutes.


Friday – Cumulative Test (Chapters 5 through 18 and 23)
