American History High School


Monday – Students will independently read Chapter 8, Section 1 (236 – 239) and complete outline notes on the section.

Tuesday – Chapter 8, Section 1 Reading Quiz; Each student will be assigned a subheading of Chapter 8, Section 2 (240 – 248) which they will read and become an expert on. Students will then go to the front of the class and teach their classmates about the subheading.

Wednesday – Chapter 8, Section 2 Reading Quiz; Class will read and review Chapter 8, Section 3 (249 – 256) together. Students will answer questions provided by teacher.

Thursday – Chapter 8 Brain Bowl Review

Friday – Chapter 8 Test




World History High School


Monday – Early Empires PowerPoint Presentation. Students will watch videos, answer discussion questions, and answer written questions on slides.

Tuesday – Early Empires PowerPoint Presentation (Continued). Students will watch videos, answer discussion questions, and answer written questions on slides.

Wednesday – Students will watch videos on Bronze Age and answer teacher-directed questions.

Thursday – Brain Bowl Review (Early Empires)

Friday – Test (Early Empires)




English Honors High School


Monday – Students will receive vocabulary list #5. Students will write vocabulary words in sentences with context clues demonstrating their knowledge of the words.

Tuesday – Students will read Night and answer reader response questions.

Wednesday – Students will read Night and answer reader response questions.

Thursday – Class will review subject-verb agreement and students will complete worksheet on subject-verb agreement.

Friday – Vocabulary Quiz #5




American History Middle School


Monday – Jamestown PowerPoint Presentation. Students will watch videos, answer discussion questions, and answer written questions on slides.

Tuesday – Jamestown PowerPoint Presentation (Continued). Students will watch videos, answer discussion questions, and answer written questions on slides.

Wednesday – Students will independently complete pages 30-32 in the workbook.

Thursday – Brain Bowl Review (Jamestown)

Friday – Test (Jamestown)
