Economics

Monday – Government Regulation and Competition. Class will review pages 162 to 167. Students will define all terms, answer checkpoint questions, and answer the assessment questions on page 167.

Tuesday – Section 4 Topic Assessment. Students will complete Florida Topic 4 Assessment (questions 1 through 20).

Wednesday – Brain Bowl Chapter 4 Review.

Thursday – Chapter 4 Test.

Friday – Enrichment Activity.


English Honors

Monday – Students will define vocabulary terms and write them in sentences.

Tuesday – Canterbury Tales. Class will begin reading the Canterbury Tales in the textbook. Students will answer teacher-directed questions.

Wednesday – Canterbury Tales. Class will continue reading the Canterbury Tales in the textbook. Students will answer teacher-directed questions.

Thursday – Vocabulary Quiz. Canterbury Tales. Class will continue reading the Canterbury Tales in the textbook. Students will answer teacher-directed questions.

Friday – Canterbury Tales. Class will finish reading the Canterbury Tales in the textbook. Students will answer teacher-directed questions.


8th Grade American History

Monday – The Spread of New Ideas. Class will review and discuss textbook pages 118 through 123. Students will answer teacher-directed questions and define all terms. (Absent students will define all terms, answer checkpoint questions, and answer check your progress questions 1 through 4 on page 123.)

Tuesday – The Spread of New Ideas (Continued). Class will review and discuss textbook pages 118 through 123. Students will answer teacher-directed questions and define all terms. Wednesday – “How I Became a Printer” by Benjamin Franklin. Class will read and review the excerpt on pages 124 & 125. Historian’s Apprentice: Compare and Contrast Activity. Students will answer the questions about the Venn Diagram on page 126 and create a Venn Diagram of their own.

Thursday – Chapter 4 Brain Bowl Review (textbook pages 107 to 125.)

Friday – Chapter 4 Quiz (textbook pages 107 to 125)


Drama

Monday – Students will perform their dialogue activity with their partner.

Tuesday – Conflicting emotions improv activity.

Wednesday – NO CLASS.

Thursday – Students that don’t have this class on Monday and Tuesday will perform their dialogue activity with their partner.

Friday – Mystery jobs improv activity.
