Note: This Agenda Blog is only an approximate plan of the weekly lesson plans. Changes can and will be made due to unanticipated circumstances and in order to maximize instructional effectiveness.




Economics

Monday – Make-up Work & Packet Review. Students will work on missing assignments. If students have no missing assignments, they will quietly review their packets from the previous five units.

Tuesday – Demand Shifts. PowerPoint Presentation on Demand Shifts. Students will listen, read slides, answer teacher-directed questions, participate in class discussions, and answer questions on PowerPoint slides.

Wednesday – Fundamentals of Demand. PowerPoint Presentation on Fundamentals of Demand. Students will listen, read slides, answer teacher-directed questions, participate in class discussions, and answer questions on PowerPoint slides.

Thursday – Economics Review Worksheet. Students will complete the review worksheet, which reviews the six units we have learned about so far.

Friday – NO SCHOOL (UF HOMECOMING)




High School English

Monday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. In a group setting, are you usually the first person to speak up, the last person to speak up, or somewhere in the middle? Why do you think that is? Make-up Work & Grammar Review. Students will work on missing assignments. If students have no missing assignments, they will quietly review their grammar packets to prepare for Wednesday’s quiz.

Tuesday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. What makes you laugh the hardest? Why? Conjunctions Worksheet #1. Class will review and complete most of the worksheet together. Students will complete the worksheet independently.

Wednesday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. If you could end any problem in the world, what would it be and why? (Students will turn in writing journals.) Review Activity. Students will participate in review game by answering grammar questions on the PowerPoint slides.

Thursday – Grammar Quiz #1. Students will identify the subject, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, and prepositional phrases in sentences.

Friday – NO SCHOOL (UF HOMECOMING)




8th Grade English

Monday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. In a group setting, are you usually the first person to speak up, the last person to speak up, or somewhere in the middle? Why do you think that is? Make-up Work & Silent Reading. Students will work on missing assignments. If students have no missing assignments, students will read quietly. It is recommended that they read Lord of the Flies.

Homework: Lord of the Flies. Read through Chapter 7 in Lord of the Flies by Tuesday.

Tuesday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. What makes you laugh the hardest? Why? Conjunctions Worksheet #1. Class will review and complete most of the worksheet together. Students will complete the worksheet independently.

Wednesday – Plymouth (Continued). PowerPoint Presentation on the settlement of the Plymouth Colony. Students will listen, read slides, watch video clips, answer teacher-directed questions, participate in class discussions, and answer questions on PowerPoint slides.

Thursday – Review Worksheet. Students will complete the worksheet, which reviews the six units we have learned about so far.
