FRIDAY IS A TEACHER WORKDAY – NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS

MONDAY IS A SCHOOL HOLIDAY – NO SCHOOL

Period 1: English 9/10

MON-THURS: Justice unit final project assigned – see written assignment. Will be presented on Tuesday.

Period 2: ELA 6

MON: Turn in the first assignment of the 3rd quarter – inspirational poem.

MON-THURS: Read “The First Day of School” p. 126, do assessments. Discuss non-fiction narratives, attributes, and how to write. Vocabulary from story, vocabulary quiz.

Period 3: Literacy

MON: Presentations of Zero’s perspective narrative

TUES – THUIRS: Holes Chapters 35-40 Reading, Discussion, Comp Qs.

Period 4: English 11/12

MON: PP Presentations assigned on Friday will presented (“The Pedestrian”)

TUES –THURS: “Amaryllis” short story reading, discussion, assessment.

Period 5: ELA 7

MON-WED: Write narrative.

THURS: Beginning of class, turn in narrative. Read story, p. 183, discuss and assessment.

Period 6: Law (no class Wednesdays)

MON-TUES: We will go over email marketing laws and environmental regulations. Participation in discussion will be graded.

THURS: We will go over Privacy laws. An assessment will be assigned and due TUES.
