Period 1: English 9/10

MON: Plot diagram due at the beginning of class – Mrs. Smith will review. Work on

TUES: Do THIRD step of Assignment. Give the paper to Mrs. Smith to review by the end of class.

WED – FRI: Write the rough draft of your story. Work on the SIXTH step of the assignment. The rough draft with annotations will be due on MON.

Period 2: ELA 6

MON: Current Events Presentations due.

TUES - FRI: Abel’s Island vocabulary, reading, assignments.

Period 3: Literacy

MON-FRI: Holes Chapters 44-50. Written assignments. Group and individual work.

Period 4: English 11/12

MON: PowerPoint presentations on book burning/banning will be given.

TUES: Fahrenheit 451 introductory assignment #2 will be given.

THURS: Fahrenheit 451 introductory assignment #2 due at beginning of class. Vocabulary for the first chapters will be done.

FRI: Begin reading novel.

Period 5: ELA 7

MON: The Giver chapters 1-2 essay due.

MON-FRI: The Giver chapters 3-5 vocabulary, reading, comp Qs. Written individual assignment will be given time permitting.

Period 6: Law (no class Wednesdays)

MON - FRI: Contracts: Lessons, discussions, assessments.
