Monday – NO SCHOOL
Tuesday – Vocabulary Review Worksheet #6. Students will complete vocabulary review worksheet using their vocabulary lists. Students will spend the second half of the period quizzing each other on the vocabulary terms.
Homework: Study for Chapter 22 & 23 Test.
Wednesday – Chapter 22 & 23 Test. Test on Chapters 22 & 23 in the textbook.
Homework: Nixon and the Watergate Scandal. Students will read pages 790 to 797 in the textbook. (If unable to finish in class.)
Thursday - Nixon and the Watergate Scandal. Students will complete the Section 1 Assessment (1, 4, 5, 6) on page 797. Students must write out questions. What are the Limits of Executive Privilege. Class will read and discuss page 798 on the implications of the United States v. Nixon (1974) Supreme Court case.
Homework: The Ford and Carter Years. Students will read pages 799 to 805 in the textbook. (By Tuesday)

Tuesday – Chapter 25 Review. Students will complete the following sections of the Chapter 25 Review on page 658 in the textbook: Identifying People and Ideas, Understanding Main Ideas, Reviewing Themes, Thinking Critically.
Wednesday – Chapter 25 Test (Nationalism in Europe). Test on Chapter 25 in the textbook.
Homework: Setting the Stage for War. Students will read pages 698 to 703 in the textbook.
Thursday – NO CLASS (Skating Field Trip)
Friday - Setting the Stage for War. Class will discuss the root causes of World War One and the July Crisis. Class will watch video on the causes of World War One.
Homework: Students will write an essay discussing the root causes of World War One and tracing the development of the July Crisis into World War One.
English High School
Monday – NO SCHOOL
Tuesday – A Christmas Carol. Class will read and discuss Chapter 2 of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Students will answer guided reading questions.
