Note: This Agenda Blog is only an approximate plan of the weekly lesson plans. Changes can and will be made due to unanticipated circumstances and in order to maximize instructional effectiveness.



American History High School


Monday – Silent Study Day. Students will silently review vocabulary lists (Chapters 3, 5, & 6), tests (Chapters 3, 5, & 6), and reading quizzes (3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4, 5-1, 5-2, 5-3, and 6-1).


Tuesday – Class will finish reading and discussing on Chapter 6, Section 2. Students will complete the reading checkpoint questions, the comparing viewpoint questions on age 189, and questions 4, 5, and 6 in the section 2 assessment on page 192.


Wednesday – Chapter 6, Section 2 Reading Quiz. Students will read Chapter 6, Section 3 in the textbook (pages 194 to 201), complete the reading checkpoint questions, and complete questions 4, 5, and 6 in the section 3 assessment on page 201.


Thursday – Chapter 6, Section 3 Reading Quiz. Brain Bowl Review for Chapter 6 Test.


Friday – Chapter 6 Test.



World History High School


Monday – Class will complete Interactive PowerPoint Presentation on Dawn of Civilization.


Tuesday – Brain Bowl Review (Dawn of Civilization)


Wednesday – Test on Dawn of Civilization


Thursday – Class will begin PowerPoint Presentation on Sumer & Akkad.


Friday – Class will continue PowerPoint Presentation on Sumer & Akkad.



English High School


Monday – Silent Study Day. Students will study vocabulary lists 1, 2, and 3. There will be a cumulative test on all three units this Friday.


Tuesday – Night. Class will continue reading Night. Students will answer reader response questions provided by teacher and participate in class discussion.


Wednesday – Night. Class will continue reading Night. Students will answer reader response questions provided by teacher and participate in class discussion.


Thursday – Students will complete Sentence Diagram Worksheet #2.


Friday – Vocabulary Test #1. (Cumulative Test on Vocabulary Lists 1, 2, & 3.) Students who finish early should silent read.



American History Middle School


Monday – Silent Study Day. Students will study packets (Pre-Columbian America, Age of Exploration, and Colonial Rivalry North America.) Half of the class will be taking Progress Monitoring tests in the lab.


Tuesday – Class will continue Traditions of Government PowerPoint presentation.


Wednesday – Class will complete Traditions of Government PowerPoint presentation.


Thursday – Brain Bowl Review (Traditions of Government)


Friday – Test (Traditions of Government); Students will complete pages 47 to 49 in the workbook (Life in the Colonies)
