Government

Monday – Chapter 2 Assessment. Students will complete Section 2 Chapter Assessment on page 64 (questions 1 through 11). Students must write the questions.

Tuesday – Chapter 2 Brain Bowl Review.

Wednesday – Chapter 2 Test.

Thursday – Introduction to Chapter 3: The Constitution. Teacher will introduce and class will briefly review. Basic Principles. Class will read and review pages 68 to 75 in the textbook together. Students will answer teacher-directed questions.

English Honors

Monday – Quick Write Creative Essay. Students will have the whole period to write an essay describing what the next year of their life would be like if they won 100 million dollars in the lottery.

Tuesday – Students will receive their weekly vocabulary list. Class will review. Students will write the words in sentences with context clues demonstrating their understanding of the vocabulary words.

Wednesday – 1984. Students will read chapter 7 and 8. Textbook pages 69 to 104.

HW: Students will finish reading through the end of Section 1 on page 104.

Thursday – 1984 Quiz (Section 1). Class will review and discuss Section 1 of 1984.

Friday – Vocabulary Quiz (This week’s vocabulary list). Vocabulary review game.


8th Grade American History

Monday – Chapter 7 Review & Assessment. Students will complete questions 1 through 9 on pages 224. Students must write questions.

Tuesday – Chapter 7 Test.

Wednesday – The Constitution of the United States of America. Class will read, discuss, and review the Constitution, which is located on pages 228 to 250 in the textbook. Students will answer teacher-directed questions on a piece of paper.
