Thursday: students will read silently for 20 minutes and write a summary explaining the theme of the novel they are reading

Friday: Read Silently for the first 20 minutes of class and complete the week’s assignments

Wednesday- A Valediction: pgs 451-462 1,2,3,4,5, and 6. The teacher will read with students and answer the questions.

Wednesday: Complete the questions on pg. 462 and prep for a writing activity

Thursday: LOL Text Pg 452, 453, 454 questions 1,3,4,5 Question 6 Essay

Friday: Complete the Previous day's assignments; Read Silently for the first 20 minutes of class and complete the week’s assignments

Grade 9/10

Grade 8 Reading

Monday- We Are All One pg 265- 273, and The Cormorant- Read with class, and discuss the theme

Tuesday- We Are All One pg 265- 273, and The Cormorant- Read with class, and discuss the theme Answer questions on page 272

Wednesday- Continued from yesterday: Assign the students characters and read the play with students.

Thursday- Expository Essay- Teacher will pick a topic from Writing options pg 273
