6th Grade: ELA

Monday: Write and complete Nonfiction Report. Spectrum Workbook -ELA Pages: 44-47. Spectrum Write WKBK pgs 67-69 read and work silently.

Tuesday: Continue from the previous day, Teacher will assist students with Spectrum Writing ELA pgs Adverbs Lesson 1.20 pgs 44-47

Wednesday: Complete Writing WKBK pg 67-69 Teacher will read with students, and complete the activities with students

Thursday: Read and Complete work assigned in Spectrum WKBKs from the previous day. Students will complete the Reasons Why Graphic Organizer Essay Writing

Friday: Students will complete the graphic organizer on The Reasons Why.

8th Grade: ELA

Monday: Write and complete Nonfiction Report. Spectrum Workbook -ELA Pages: 23-26. Lesson 1.9 on Action Verbs Spectrum Write WKBK pgs 68-70. Students will read the activities and complete them while working silently.

Tuesday: Continue from the previous day, Teacher will assist students with Spectrum Writing pgs 58-61 Lesson 2 on Organization ELA pgs 24-26 Lesson 1.9 pgs 44-47

Wednesday: Complete Writing WKBK pgs.58-61 from the previous day. The teacher will read with students, and complete the activities with students.

Thursday: Read and Complete work assigned in Spectrum WKBKs from the previous day. Students will complete the Reasons Why Graphic Organizer Essay Writing. The teacher will collect Book Reports and send emails home to those parents whose students did not complete the NON-Fiction Book Report

Friday: Students will complete the graphic organizer essay for The Reasons Why.

7Th Grade ELA:

Monday: Write and complete Nonfiction Report. Spectrum Workbook -ELA Pages: 23-27. Lesson 1.9 on Action Verbs Spectrum Write WKBK pgs 37-45. Students will read the activities and complete them while working silently.

Tuesday: Continue from the previous day, Teacher will assist students with Spectrum Writing pgs 58-61 Lesson 2 on Organization ELA pgs 23 -26 Lesson 1.9 pgs 44-47

Wednesday: Complete Writing WKBK pgs.58-61 from the previous day. The teacher will read with students, and complete the activities with students.

8th Grade Reading

Monday: In the Elements of Literature Text. Complete the questions for the short story The Landlady. pgs181-ALL Questions 1-5 and the Reading Check

Tuesday: Students are completing the Landlady Questions part 2 6-7 These are Long Response questions and require evidence and elaboration of well-constructed responses from the text. Pg 181.

Wednesday: Complete questions and begin planning the Christmas Story Storyboard. The teacher will read with students, and complete the activities with students

Thursday: Continue from the previous day: The Christmas Story.

Friday: Finish the Christmas Story and begin sketching the favorite scene

9/10 th Grade

Monday: Class will write, research, and complete the essay for EJI- contest Racial Injustice

Tuesday: No Witchcraft for Sale- Read the Story with the students and answer the questions on pages 1-7 OMIT question #2.

Wednesday: Continue the work from the previous day- Go to pg. 107 and produce a 5 paragraph essay on # 1 Section: Inquiry and Research. No Witchcraft For Sale

Thursday: Students will finish research and complete writing an essay on Inquiry and Research pg 157.- No Witchcraft For Sale


Friday: The teacher will read and complete the activities with students from the previous day. Makeup Day for any students that did not complete the racial injustice essay

11/12 Grade

Monday: Students will read The Tales of Canterbury and complete the 26 questions for The Tales of Canterbury. Upon completion, students will create a storyboard with dialogue, characters, and a summary of the event.

Tuesday: Students completed will begin the assessment for this unit. A full scene with dialogue, characters, and detailed descriptions for full credit.

Wednesday: Continue working from the previous day and read the pages with students pgs 126-128. Discuss the descriptions given and the tone used by Chaucer in writing of these tales

Thursday: Christmas Story Due Monday at the end of class. Free Write creation.

Friday: Continue and finish the assignment from the previous day.
