American History High School


Monday – Chapter 10 Review. Class will review for Chapter 10 Test.


Tuesday – Test (Chapter 10); Students will receive Chapter 11 vocabulary list.


Wednesday – Teacher will Introduce and summarize Chapter 11 (An Emerging World Power). The Roots of Imperialism. Class will read and review pages 330 to 335. Students will answer guided reading questions on worksheet provided by teacher.


Thursday – The Spanish-American War. Class will read and review pages 336 to 342. Students will answer guided reading questions on worksheet provided by teacher.


Friday – The United States & Asia. Class will read and review pages 343 to 347. Students will answer guided reading questions on worksheet provided by teacher.




World History High School


Monday – Test (Ancient Greece); Teacher will introduce unit on Ancient Rome.


Tuesday – Founding the Roman Republic. Students will read pages 150 to 154 in the textbook and complete worksheet provided by teacher.

Homework: Student will read pages 155 to 157 in the textbook (Rome Expands its Borders)


Wednesday – The Birth of the Roman Empire. Students will read pages 158 to 161 in the textbook and complete worksheet provided by teacher.


Thursday – Roman Culture & Society. Class will read pages 162 to 167 in the textbook together and discuss. Students are expected to actively participate and answer teacher-directed questions.

Homework: Student will read pages 168 to 171 in the textbook (The Rise of Christianity)


Friday – The Fall of the Western Empire. Students will read pages 172 to 177 in the textbook and complete worksheet provided by teacher.




English High School


Monday – Students will receive Vocabulary List #8. Class will review words. Students will write vocabulary words in sentences with context clues demonstrating their understanding of the words.


Tuesday - Narrative Essay #2. Students will finish the short story (Game Show) started on the worksheet provided by teacher. Must be a minimum of 750 words.


Wednesday – Narrative Essay #2. Students will finish the short story (Game Show) started on the worksheet provided by teacher. Must be a minimum of 750 words.

HW: Complete creative short story. (Due Thursday)


Thursday – Night. Students will read pages 56 to 65 in Night and answer guided reading questions on worksheet provided by teacher.


Friday – Vocabulary Quiz #8.




American History Middle School


Monday – New England Colonies Test. Class will review U.S. states map with remaining time.

HW: Study for map test (Friday)


Tuesday – Salem Witch Trials. Students will pay attention to PowerPoint presentation, watch videos, and answer teacher-directed questions.


Wednesday – Middle Colonies PowerPoint. Students will actively participate, watch videos, answer questions on slides, and answer questions directed by teacher.


Thursday – Middle Colonies PowerPoint (Continued). Students will actively participate, watch videos, answer questions on slides, and answer questions directed by teacher.


Friday – U.S. States Map Test.
