Kindness Challenge

Student of the Month:

Teachers and staff will present students with "Caught You Being Kind" tickets to acknowledge good deeds. Students can enter their tickets into a monthly raffle where one will be drawn at random. The winner will get recognized as Student of the Month with their name displayed on our bulletin board and website!

Semi-Annual Kindness Awards:

Students, staff, and parents will be honored for their kind contributions to our community with a Certificate of Kindness. These will be awarded during our Thanksgiving Feast in November and the Honors Ceremony in May.

Kindness Mural

“Some kids are smarter than you. Some kids have cooler clothes than you. Some kids are better at sports than you. It doesn't matter. You have your thing too. Be the kid who can get along. Be the kid who is generous. Be the kid who is happy for other people. Be the kid who does the right thing. Be the nice kid.”

More Than Just a Mural...

Students are painting this mural on a prominent wall in our main hallway. This quote, chosen by students and staff, sets the tone for our community. We value collaboration, teamwork, integrity, and kindness. Each student will add their handprint in paint around these words, making it a symbolic contract of sorts. This painting will serve as a daily reminder to treat one another with compassion and care.
