Period 1: English 9/10

MON: Vocab Quiz, then begin Reading Act I.

TUES-FRI: Continued Reading and Discussion Act I.

Period 2: ELA 6

MON: Abel’s Island Chapters 8-10 post reading activity (individual handout).

TUES – FRI: Abel’s Island Chapters 11-14 pre-reading assignment (group handout), vocabulary (group – handout), reading and discussion.

Period 3: Literacy

MON: Homework due for “Mask of the Red Death” allegory handout.

MON-TUES work on in class, due beginning of class on WED: “Mask of the Red Death” and “The Fir Tree” comparison essay (handout).

WED-FRI: “A Sound of Thunder,” vocabulary (handout), reading and discussion.

Period 4: English 11/12

MON-FRI: Fahrenheit 451 PART TWO: pp. 67-88 vocabulary, reading, comprehension questions.

Period 5: ELA 7

MON: Slides or PP presentations will be presented.

TUES-FRI: The Giver Chapters 11-13 Vocabulary, reading and discussion, comprehension questions (group – handout).

Period 6: Law (no class Wednesdays)

MON-FRI: H.R. 287 (gaming law) and torrents discussion and assignments.
