Note: This Agenda Blog is only an approximate plan of the weekly lesson plans. Changes can and will be made due to unanticipated circumstances and in order to maximize instructional effectiveness.




World History Middle School

Monday – Students will watch a series of video clips on ancient history (Sumeria, Mummification in Ancient Egypt, Domestication of Cats, Domestication of Dogs) and discuss together as a class.

Tuesday – Students will participate in Create Your Own Ancient Culture Scenarios.

Wednesday – Students will participate in Create Your Own Ancient Culture Scenarios.

Thursday – Students will watch video on Life in Ancient Sparta and discuss together as a class.

Friday Students will watch video on the Late Bronze Age Collapse and discuss together as a class.




American History Middle School

Monday – Class will watch American History video skit that the students made and discuss together.

Tuesday – The Emancipation Proclamation (textbook pages 524 to 527). Class will briefly discuss and students will complete ten questions and answers.

Wednesday – Decisive Battles (textbook pages 533 to 537). Class will briefly discuss and students will complete ten questions and answers.

Thursday – Civil War Test. Open book test on textbook pages 512 to 537.

Friday – NO CLASS. Wild Adventure Trip.




World History High School

Monday – Some students will be EOC testing for American History. The rest of the class will review World War Two and any students who did not finish their take-home tests will be given extra-time to do so.

Tuesday – Students will participate in Create Your Own Ancient Culture Scenarios.

Wednesday – Students will participate in Create Your Own Ancient Culture Scenarios.

Thursday – Students will watch video on the Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire and discuss together.

Friday – NO CLASS. Wild Adventure Trip.




American History High School

Monday – End Of Course Assessment

Tuesday – Class will watch documentary video on the Persian Gulf War and discuss together as a class.

Wednesday – Class will watch documentary video on the September 11 terrorist attacks and discuss.

Thursday Brain Bowl Review Game (Chapters 5 through 24)

Friday – Class will watch documentary video on the American Revolution and discuss.
