Feb 8th - Feb 12th

This is subject to change if I feel as though the students are proficient or not at these topics


Algebra 1:

Monday- We will start with reviewing over absolute value equations. The homework will be a worksheet about solving absolute value equations

Tuesday- We will start on graphing absolute value equations. The homework will be another worksheet on graphing absolute value.

Wednesday- We will continue on graphing absolute value equations with real life examples. The homework will be Pg 188, 12, 16-25

Thursday- We will review over absolute value in it's entirety for the quiz on Tuesday.

Friday- Free Math Friday. The student who was picked on Monday, we will do the topic of their choosing. No homework will be given.


Pre-Algebra:

Monday- We will start on Two-Step Equations with positive and negative coefficients. The homework will be Pg 350, 15-20

Tuesday- We will continue on multi step equations with positive and negative coefficients. The homework will be Pg 355, 1-6, 10-15

Wednesday- We will review over two step equations for the quiz tomorrow on Thursday.

Thursday- There will be a quiz on Two Step Equations. There will be an activity on two step equations with rational coefficients tomorrow

Friday- We will begin the activity on rational coefficients so we can understand it for next week.


7th Grade Math:

Monday- We will start on equations and relations. The homework will be Pg 259, 1-3, 5-9

Tuesday- We will continue with equations and relations with actual equations! The homework will be a worksheet about equations

Wednesday- We will review over equations and relations for the quiz tomorrow.

Thursday- The quiz about relations and equations will be given. On Friday, we will play a game/activity about equations.

Friday- We will have an activity about equations and then play a game.


6th Grade Math:

Monday- We start on Decimals to Fractions and how to figure out their denominators. The homework will be Pg 253, 10-23

Tuesday- We continue on with Decimals to Fractions. The homework will be a worksheet puzzle about decimals to fractions

Wednesday- Review of Decimals and Fractions for quiz tomorrow

Thursday- Quiz on Decimals to Fractions. We will play a math game tomorrow

Friday- Math game on decimals!


Geometry:

Monday- We start on triangles and their types. The homework will be Pg 297,298, 1-7, 9

Tuesday - We continue with triangles and their types. The homework will be a worksheet on the algebra and graphing of triangles

Wednesday- We will finish with triangles and their types. The homework will be another worksheet that will help the students understand distance of a triangular side.

Thursday- We will review over triangles for the quiz on Thursday so please prepare for it.

Friday- Free Math Friday. The student who was picked on Monday, we will do the topic of their choosing. No homework will be given
