WED-FRI: Read and discuss Act II Romeo and Juliet; assessments.

Period 2: ELA 6

MON: Abel’s Island Chapters 13-14 reading and discussion

TUES – THURS: Abel’s Island Chapters 11-14 Comprehension (group handout); individual assessments (handout).

FRI: Abel’s Island Chapters 15-17 Pre-reading assignment (handout).

Period 3: Literacy

MON-TUES: “A Sound of Thunder,” reading and discussion continued.

WED-FRI: “A Sound of Thunder,” exercises (handouts) and time permitting, movie.

Period 4: English 11/12

MON-FRI: Fahrenheit 451 PART TWO: pp. 67-88 assignments 2 & 3 (handouts), PART TWO: pp. 88-106 vocabulary (handout), reading, comprehension questions (handout).

Period 5: ELA 7

MON-FRI: The Giver Chapters 11-13 Vocabulary, reading and discussion, comprehension questions (group – handout). Time permitting, we will begin the next chapters.

Period 6: Law (no class Wednesdays)
