It’s a Spooktacular time of year, when summer heat gives way to autumn breezes that soothe the scorching landscape, and the fun, friendship, and family of Halloween and Thanksgiving wait around the corner!


Economics

Tuesday – Unit 3, Section 5 “Costs of Production,” (pages 101 – 107)

Wednesday – Unit 3, Section 6 “Changes in Supply,” (pages 108 – 113)

Thursday – Quiz on Unit 3, Sections 1 – 6

Friday – NO SCHOOL!!!


World History

Monday – “Conquests of Alexander the Great,” (Video.) Students take notes.

HW: Read pages 133 – 137 (Philosophers & Writers of Ancient Greece), Answer Review Questions on page 137

Tuesday – “Alexander the Great,” (pages 138 – 141), Answer Review Questions on page 141.

HW: (Due Monday, 10/7) Students will write a paper on Alexander the Great. (500 Word Minimum.)

Wednesday – “Alexander the Great, Part 1” (Documentary Video.) Students take notes.

Thursday – “Alexander the Great, Part 2” (Documentary Video.) Students take notes.

Friday – NO SCHOOL!!!


American History

Monday – “Colonial Society,” (pages 107 – 112.) Students summarize the Division of Labor and the different Social Classes.

Tuesday – “Slavery in the Colonies,” (pages 113 – 117)

Wednesday – “The Spread of New Ideas” (pages 118 – 123)

Thursday – Students Complete Section 4 Review Notes.

HW: Study for Test on Monday (pages 100 – 123)

Reading

Monday – “Character” (pages 106 – 107), Students will create their own character.

Tuesday – Class begins reading “The Medicine Bag” on pages 120 – 127.

Wednesday – Class finishes reading “The Medicine Bag” on pages 120 – 127.

Thursday – Students complete Making Meaning Questions on page 131.

Friday – NO SCHOOL!!!
