  • Tuesday:Complete Chapter 2 Assessment pg. 98 - open book

  • Wednesday: Complete Chapter 2 Assessment - due by the end of period

  • Thursday: Watch Fertile Crescent Flocabulary video and answer review questions as a class // Begin reading Chapter 3 The Fertile Crescent, Section 1 : The Civilization of Sumer pg. 106, noting key terms and answering reading checks as we go

  • Friday: Section 1 Assessment pg. 117 in groups // correct as needed

2nd Period: 7th Grade Civics

  • Monday: Receive master list of flashcard terms and definitions // copy set #1 onto flashcards // Begin Hey King, Get Off Our Backs iCivics Lesson: Read pages 1 and 2 and complete the Review Worksheet

  • Tuesday: Reconstruct the Declaration activity in groups // Review together

  • Wednesday: CE Homework DUE // Preamble fill-in-the-Blank Activity in groups // Review together

  • Thursday: Review for Flashcard test #1: Trashketball

  • Friday: Binder Check // Flashcard Test // Study Flashcards

3rd Period: 6/7th Grade Advanced Reading

  • Monday: Silent Reading // New Vocabulary Packet: Mandela is Free Vocab Packet (Due Friday) // Read “Night Light on the High Seas” pg. 70 // Begin Making Meanings pg. 77 #1-7

  • Tuesday: Silent Reading // Finish Making Meanings pg. 77

  • Wednesday: Silent Sustained Reading outside!

  • Thursday: Silent Reading // Read “A Day’s Wait” pg. 80 // Complete Making Meanings pg. 85 Reading Check and # 1 - 10, skip 7

  • Friday: Vocab Test // Silent Reading
