1st Period: 6th Grade World History

Monday: Make-up work day - students can catch up on missing assignments for any class

Tuesday: Chapter 5 follow-up activity in pairs - students will work with a partner to answer their assigned questions from Chapter 5 assessment on pg. 188

Wednesday: Begin reading Chapter 6 on pg. 196 with stories from Mesoamerican Civilizations // Read Section 1: The Maya pg. 200

Thursday: Read Ch. 6.2: The Aztecs pg. 208

Friday: Receive Chapter 6 Study Guide and begin completing it as we read the chapter

2nd Period: 7th Grade Civics

Monday: Study EOC Flashcards // Make-up work day - students can catch up on missing assignments for any class

Tuesday: Study EOC Flashcards // Trashketball Showdown Preparation - 7th grade has challenged 8th grade to a game of Civics EOC Trashketball and will practice answering questions according to the showdown format

Wednesday: No Current Event HW this week! // Read “A Very Big Branch” iCivics packet as a class and begin working on Activity Sides A and B

Thursday: Study EOC Flashcards // Finish Activity Sides A and B from “A Very Big Branch”

Friday: Study EOC Flashcards // EOC Flashcard Test on Sets 1 - 6

3rd Period: 6/7th Grade Advanced Reading

Monday: Silent Reading // New Vocab Packet: Clowns Can’t Dance //

Tuesday: Silent Reading // Play vocab game and begin working on packets

Wednesday: Silent Reading // Begin reading “The Nightingale” pg. 215

Thursday: Silent Reading // Finish“The Nightingale” and answer discussion questions as a class

Friday: Vocabulary packets are DUE! // Vocab Test: Clowns Can’t Dance // Silent Reading // Mad Libs
