Monday: Graphic Organizer Nonfiction Report. Students will read and work silently filling in the sections for the report
Tuesday: Teacher will assist students with Spectrum Writing WK pgs 66-67: Cause and Effects Relationships
Wednesday: Complete Writing WKBK pg 67-68. The teacher will read with students, and complete the activities with students
Thursday: Read and Complete the graphic organizer for a nonfiction book report complete the facts from two school appropriate websites, and begin the bibliography page
Friday: The teacher will read and complete the activities with students on Spectrum writing WKBK pages 69 and 70.
8th Grade: ELA

8th Grade Reading
Monday: In the Elements of Literature Text Writing Workshop pg 160-166 Students will read the workshop and complete the assigned activities.
Tuesday: Students are completing their writing workshop pages on 163-165
Wednesday: Complete Writing WKBK pg 67-68 Teacher will read with students, and complete the activities with students
Thursday: Read and discuss meaning with students Elements of Language Poetry pgs 159-160 A Wise Old Woman
Friday: Read and Complete a five-paragraph essay on the message of the poem. Students will use evidence from the text to validate their essays.
9/10 th Grade
Monday: Class will read and complete the readings on Civil rights EOL text pgs 136-138 Students will answer and complete all parts of the activity
Tuesday: The teacher will assist students with questions on researching a civil rights event in this area. To Be used for Essay on Racial Injustice in our community. This will be a test grade
Wednesday: Complete research and begin essays on racial injustice. 5 paragraphs were well written and revised before submission.
Thursday: Read and Complete pgs 148-157 No Witchcraft for Sale. Students will read a story in chunks and write one paragraph after the reading where they discuss character descriptions, themes, and the literary analysis used in the story
Friday: The teacher will read and complete the activities with students from the previous day. Makeup Day for any students that did not complete the racial injustice essay
11/12 Grade
Monday: Students will read The Tales of Canterbury. 120-122 Teacher will discuss character descriptions and ask students to sketch an example of the characters.
Tuesday: The teacher will assist students with the theme and assist students in answering questions. Pages 123-125
Wednesday: Continue working from the previous day and read the pages with students pgs 126-128. Discuss the descriptions given and the tone used by Chaucer in writing of these tales
Thursday: Read and Complete pages and ask students to create a dialogue from the relationships and descriptions provided by the author in the Canterbury Tales. Must have a minimum of 4 characters and the unfolding plot as described in the story. Pages 126-128
Friday: Continue and finish the assignment from the previous day.
