Monday – Sole Proprietorships. Textbook pages 176 to 180. Class will read and discuss. Students will answer teacher-directed questions. (Absent students will read textbook pages 176 to 180, define all terms, answer checkpoint question, and answer the assessment questions on page 180.)

Tuesday – Partnerships & Franchises. Textbook pages 181 to 186. Class will read and discuss. Students will answer teacher-directed questions. (Absent students will read textbook pages 181 to 186, define all terms, answer checkpoint question, and answer the assessment questions on page 186.)

Wednesday – Corporations. Textbook pages 187 to 192. Class will read and discuss. Students will answer teacher-directed questions. (Absent students will read textbook pages 187 to 192, define all terms, answer checkpoint question, and answer the assessment questions on page 192.)

Thursday – Brain Bowl Review

Friday – Types of Businesses Quiz. Textbook pages 176 to 192.


English Honors

Monday – Vocabulary List #4. Class will receive new vocabulary list and students will write all vocabulary terms in sentences. Class will play a review game based on previous vocabulary terms.

Tuesday – Canterbury Tales. Class will continue reading the Canterbury Tales in the textbook. Students will answer teacher-directed questions.

Wednesday – Canterbury Tales. Class will continue reading the Canterbury Tales in the textbook. Students will answer teacher-directed questions.

HW: Students will finish reading through page 136 of the Canterbury Tales.

Thursday – Students will complete the Thinking through Literature questions on page 137. Students will complete Choice & Challenges: Writing Options 1 & 2 on page 138. Students will complete Vocabulary in Action on page 138.

Friday – Vocabulary Quiz. Vocabulary lists one through four.


8th Grade American History

Monday – Historian’s Apprentice Workshop: Historian’s Checklist Activity. Textbook pages 130 to 133. Students will answer the 7 historian’s checklist questions for each primary source document, as well as the enrichment question.

Class will read and discuss. Students will answer teacher-directed questions. (Absent students will read textbook pages 140 to 144, define all terms, answer checkpoint question, and answer check your progress questions 1 through 5.)

Thursday – Trouble on the Frontier (Continued.) Textbook pages 140 to 144. Class will read and discuss. Students will answer teacher-directed questions. Friday – The Colonists Resist Tighter Control. Textbook page 145 to 149. Class will read and discuss. Students will answer teacher-directed questions. (Absent students will read textbook pages 145 to 149, define all terms, answer checkpoint questions, and answer check your progress questions 1 through 7.)


Drama

Monday – Students that still need to finish their dialogue will do so. Beginning Line Improvisation Skit.

Tuesday – Scripts. Students will learn how to write a script and will work on writing a short script.

Wednesday – NO CLASS.

Thursday – Students that do not have this class on Monday and Tuesday who still need to finish their dialogues will do so. Students will be given more time to work on their scripts.

Friday – Outrageous Late for School Skits.
