Economics

Monday – Brain Bowl Review. Review game and study activity for the Fundamentals of Demand and Shifts in Demand unit. Students are expected to listen, answer questions on PowerPoint slides, and participate with their team.

Tuesday – Fundamentals & Shifts of Demand Test. Test on the Fundamentals of Demand and Shifts in Demand unit. Early finishers should review, read quietly, or work on an assignment for another class.

Wednesday – Make-Up Work. Students will use time to complete any make-up work from the first quarter.

Thursday – Spirit Week Team Building Activity.

Friday – NO CLASS (Spirit Day Activities)


High School English

Monday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. List three things you would do if you were the President. Explain why. Vocabulary List #4. Students will receive Vocabulary List #4 and class will review. Vocabulary Sentences. Students will write each of the vocabulary words (from Vocabulary List #4) in a sentence with context clues demonstrating their understanding of the vocabulary term.

Tuesday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. What is your favorite sports team and why? Description of Place Essay. Students will write a 300-to-500 word essay describing one of the locations listed on the worksheet.

Wednesday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. Name one place you would like to volunteer at and why? Vocabulary Quiz #4. Quiz on Vocabulary List #4. Make-Up Work. Students will use time to complete any make-up work from the first quarter.

Thursday – Spirit Week Team Building Activity.

Friday – NO CLASS (Spirit Day Activities)


8th Grade English

Homework: Read through chapter 7 in Lord of the Flies.

Tuesday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. What is your favorite sports team and why? Lord of the Flies Quiz, Chapters 6 & 7. Reading quiz on chapters 6 & 7 of Lord of the Flies. Description of Place Essay (Continued). Students will write a 300-to-500 word essay describing one of the locations listed on the worksheet.

Homework: Complete Description of Place Essay. (Due Wednesday)

Thursday – Work on Spirit Door. Students complete missing assignments.
